What You Can Expect From Us
While we do ask for something from you to help make an event successful, we also promise to deliver the following:
- On-time Delivery and Setup – We will do everything we can to show up on time and get setup in a timely manner. Remeber, your delivery time is when we will arrive, and we typically want to get there an hour prior to “bags flying” so please keep that in mind when requesting times.
- Setup and Prep – Our team will get everything unloaded, and set up. We again will need access to power and internet, and will do our best to fit to your space.
- Get Everyone in the System – having the list of teams is key, and when you give us that we will get the software setup properly, and get the tournament ready to go.
- We’re Available – for ~60 minutes prior to answer questions
- Introduction to the Game – we explain rules, explain the process, and get the tournament started. Once we have all teams in the system our facilitator will get things rolling, explain how it works, explain the rules, and then hit “Go” and announce the first games.
- We’re at the Scorer’s Table – to end games and call out next games
- Manage the Bracket and Keep Things Moving – Each tournament package includes an approximate amount of time, we try to stick close to that to respect our facilitators time. We may need to charge more for extra time, and may provide a refund if it takes way less time than expected
- Sort Issues and Answer Questions
- Finish Tournament and Announce Winners – we can do 1st and 2nd, or top 3. We dont provide prizes but will be happy to take pictures of the winners for you.
- Cleanup – We will tear down everything and cleanup and get our of your hair.
FAQs
While we do ask for something from you to help make an event successful, we also promise to deliver the following:
- How many sets of boards would I need? – we typically recommend 1 set of boards for each 4-6 teams you have
- How long will a cornhole tournament take? It varies, but this table is a close estimation:
- Is there a “bust rule” – No not in standard cornhole rules, you dont go back to 15 if you go over 21, the first to 21 wins.
- Can we use our own bags – Sure, if your opponent is ok with it. But we do provide bags
- What if we dont have power or Wifi – It will be difficult to run that tournament and we might not be a great fit or you need a different venue. We can use a hotspot on a phone if someone has it too.
- Does TLG provide prizes for winners – no we do not
- When do I need to know how many teams are in the tournament? Preferably before you get a quote and reserve, but we understand thats not always the case. We will provide a quote for up to a certain amount of teams, and then if you go over that we may charge extra after the tournament, though we wont be stingy over 2-3 extra teams.
